VERY cool and particularly at 9 months!!!!! I would not picture many dogs at that age going after the dude on top of the car. Who's car do you borrow for the training?

not that difficult antony , in many programs  you need to teach the dog to bark on command
and bitework/bones is not everybodys idea  i guess

Oh, yes I understand. Ididn't make the connection, since that's not something I participate with my dog. But yes, I see what you're doing.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I do the same thing with the on and off switching but not on pups this young. they tend to turn themselves off midbite and fall asleep mid leap lol.

magda.....  with every training, how young your dogs are, it is important that the dog/pup never says when to start or stop , thats allways your choice

Yes I know, the toys are mine and the game finishes when I say and leaves them wanting more. If I am doing any bitework on a rag or tug pups don't usually get more than 3 bites before we stop-maybe 2-3 minutes of chasing/biting/countering. I meant more that 8 weeks old puppies when playing by themselves and running around switch themselves off for sleep when they need it. With older pups that already know some commands I will stop them mid game with a sit or a down and then resume the game to try to kick in the on and off switch.

Anthony, these are workingline puppies; they are trained differently than our showline dogs and different behavior is encouraged. While you and I may try to discourage a puppy from biting our ankles, WL people encourage it and observe their dogs for signs that they are going to mature into  dogs that will excel in protection work.
