I have been using Origen Large Breed puppy food for the past several months now. They are fed raw in the morning and a cup and a half of Origen at night. Seems to work like a charm. Origen is expensive but you don't have to give as much as other cheaper foods. |

| Just want to join the others who mentioned Costco's food. We feed Nature's Domain salmon and sweet potato (grain free) by Kirkland. Great food--35 pound bag for $33 at my Costco. |

I feed Orijen and have loved the results!! I started with Puppy Lareg and now feed Regional Red for all life stages. Poops are great. Coat shiny. Weight perfect. Can't ask for more.....  |

| I'm not sure if it's available in Europe (or the US), or if there's an equivalent product, but i used to compliment my GSD's dry-food & raw meat diet with a nutritional suppliment called Livermol. Basically it's a molasses-based meal suppliment, in powdered form, with alot of vitamin additives. It was recommended to me by a GSD breeder, whom Tyson boarded with when i was away on holidays. It's very popular with racehorse owners, and farmers who raise blue-chip (show quality) livestock. A couple of teaspoons, with some warm water, and it turns into a broth mixture, so it can be easily added to a meal. Great results re-coat condition. |

| Hi I have used Royal Canin Giant Puppy since 2 months old and have always had perfect results. At 10 months he is now on Royal Canin Maxi Junior and still doing very well. Royal Canin is not cheap but give fantastic results - i get mine shipped from Germany via www.zooplus.com |

| I feed my dog's Fromm's dog food also. Either Duck or Chicken. I also feed Taste of the Wild Water Fowl. Mix the 2 foods together now. Taste of the Wild has higher protein & calories for my more active dogs. |

| We fed Kirkland Lamb and Rice exclusively to all of our GSDs until this past summer (13 years). We then switched to Nature's Domain salmon and sweet potato (grain free food) and our three have done awesome on it. My young girl came to me on Orijen but it is just too rich for her and she had loose stinky stool. With the natures domain their stool is solid and smells more like horse manure. LOL. Mind you we do have horses next door so the dogs do probably supplement with horse cookies from time to time. LOL |

| I'm in Pittsburgh as well. The Costco in the waterfront carries kirklands. You have to buy it from Costco. I feed raw though... I also do feed some honest kitchen in kings mainly. Let me know if you need help finding foods, diet issues... I'm nearby. Private message me if you'd like Erin |

| I switched from the Natures Domain Turkey/Potato to the Salmon formula. My dog did not do as well on the Turkey one. She would have very stinky poos on the the turkey and also went about 4 times a day. The salmon she does MUCH better one. Since I went to the salmon/potato Natures Domain I no longer have to give her any fish oil caps.. |
