By all means, Langhaar......I say go for it.  Speak your mind.  Of course, abuse is rampant in many countries and Americans do seem to be pretty upfront about their share.  Look at the threads.  Daily accusations.  Rarely, do we see other nations spilling the beans...............and now.............one mention of another nation..........and---slam, damn, no-thank-you ma'am "Good heavens".  (You'll have to overlook the punctuation, also.........because I don't give a rat's arse (Eng. variant---just for you) about checking spelling or punct. I never compose.  Won't apologize for errors, either.  I don't judge presentation, just content.  My pet peeve would have been wasting a post correcting too for to.......but I'm getting off topic.(LOL)

So........let's see.  I'm confident we can all agree "abuse is rampant" everywhere.  The article screams religious ideology and is dated Oct'07.  Is this info correct......and from a reliable, independent source?   

In this corner we have..America:  Many religious denominations of which Islamic members make up a, hopefully, a small percentage.  I say hopefully after reading about dogs being considered 'unclean'. (If there are any Islamic posters available, please post and refute if this statement is untrue.)

In this corner we have...Iran:  Predominantly Islamic, I would believe.

P.S.---Just to lighten up a bit......and getting back off topic again----Don't you love the way Preston, an undoubtedly intelligent poster, just keeps misspelling conformation. I'd say he does it purposely......but the truth is it's probably so inconsequential or mundane to him. he doesn't notice because it's not about the dog.  I just love that.  And one more thing-----the poster who didn't like the...........................this one's for you...................................................................................(LOL)
