| Sitas Mom, the Excellent Select requirements listing you quoted is for the conformation show dogs at the GSDCA National Specialty. The National Working Dog Sports Cup is a seperate schutzhund event. Terri |

| sitasmon, I think it is a pretty sad commentary on the Am. S/L that the parent club offers an extra award as an incentive for breeders to certify hips and elbows. Rik |

I attended the Nationals this past weekend and only a handful of people actually attended the WDS event. True the weather was awful, but this was a National event and maybe 20 people showed up.Shame on all of you for not supporting this event, ooooops, that's right there were no American bred dogs in it. This event will probably die on the vine as so few people show in this sport, but of course the good ole AKC will not recognize the SchH titles so they make up another event to make more $$$$. |

| Who won the WDS Cup Championship? |
by Samba on 22 October 2009 - 12:40 |
| I don''t know who won. Only three dogs and two handlers showed. It was cold and pretty miserable out as the weather was 20 degrees below normal in Ohio plus wet and windy. There were two dogs for WDS2 and one for WDS3, I think, I am not sure why it was called a championship. |
