Ok, my black and tan female, Princess is 7 years old.  Since we got Chaos she's lost 17 lbs. and is acting like a pup again!  This morning, as I was at my computer I heard some noise behind me and turned to look.  Princess and Chaos were wrestling in the middle of the living room floor.  And then Chaos grabbed the thing that they are going for in the picture and they both started playing tug of war, lol.  I am pretty sure they both wanted to win, but Princess did win!  She got into that mode of shaking her head from side to side, and really gave him a run for his money, lol.  After they got done, both were wagging their tails and laid down beside one another out of breath!  I'm really glad that Princess finally has a bud that she gets along with really well, and will keep her young I hope for years to come!

secret to losing weight ladies, eat boneless, skinless chicken breast and lots of green   veggies.  Lunch, green or red leaf salad with grilled or pan cooked in olive oil chicken, cut into strips and put in the salad. Dinner, grilled, baked or broiled chicken with a very large side of green veggies, My fav is asparagus or broccli. Every once in a while I would add a microwaved tater with either Pica De Gallo or Picante sauce on it. Lots of water and Green Tea, I prefer the Liptons Diet green tea with citrus. I swear it works! couple of days a week add something with a little more calories, like a sandwhich on wheat etc, keeps your metabolism up.            How do I know it works?? When school let out inMay, last day of school I stepped on the scales. I was wearing a size 20 and they were TIGHT! I weighed in at 225, I have never been that heavy inmy entire life! I was so ashamed to be in public, ashamed to go to my sons activities cus I was such a buffalo. The last day of school I decided I had had enough of being fat and was determined t lose weight.. I had tried everything out there and it never lasted, I might lose 10 lbs and gain back twenty.

Believe it or not, It was this board and the dogfood review that helped me the most. Chicken is a main ingredient as well as veggies. Chicken is pure protien and kicks your metabolism into gear to burn up the fat. Reading all of the nutrition threads here got my brain to going and I started on the chicken diet.

I have another 20 lbs to go to reach my goal but I think I am going to have to reasses my goal as I think the target weight will be to thin and make me look sickly.

Where am I now?? I am not ashamed to say...............

I am now wearing a size 8 pants and weigh in at 150 and 3 ounces!!!!! The last 10 lbs are being a real bugger to take off, stubborn to the core! lol

Oh, did I mention I didnt exercise? Thats the best part about it. The only exercise I get is driving the bus and being on my feet ( stationary) all day grooming.

Now to figure out how to get some elasticity back in the skin so I dont have saggy skin lol Oh and the arms ( underside) I havnt figured out how to get rid of that. I had 3 waddles ( chins) I dont have any now! :)
Yes I am pleased with myself but I still see a fat person staring back at me, I dont know if I will ever get rid of that self image. Last time I was down to a size 10, I was 19 years old, by 20 I was up to 170 and it only increased from there.

So thats the secret. I stick with my diet for the most part and do go off the diet a coupe of days a week ( within reason, dontload up on 10k calories) to keep the metobolism jostled. I literally watched the lbs melt off, I went 1 day to buy pants, happy to fit into a size 14 altho it was very snug. I bought 3 pair of pants that day. 2 weeks later I went and got size 12, bought 6 pair figuring I would never get below that. Well it was 4 weeks and I was in a size 10 and I only bought 4 pair of pants, it was getting to expensive to keep replacing them. I have 2 pair of size 8's now and my 10's altho they are a bit baggy lol

sorry, just had to share the secret to weight loss :)
