I had a trainer - dog was c.7 mos then - who said puppy formulae were just a scam.  She just feeds adult, and I switched over too.  She made a point saying why have the young eat something different from mature?  Doesn't happen in real life.  And she was worried about too much growth fast, etc.  Like long-bone problems, and etc.
