| Hi Mo - helper is Richard Acton from Birmingham Schutzhund Club. Super venue and great for training puppies on grass!! |

| It sounds like a great venue. Is Richard Acton the helper on a permanent basis ?. Who is the trainer going to be ?. |

| NikkiF , I'll try asking again, is Richard Acton the helper on a permanent basis ?. Who is the schutzhund trainer going to be ?. |

| Sorry Yorkjason I don't come on here very often so missed your question. We are not training Schutzhund but helping people with their protection work for Koerung or British Sieger. Yes Richard will be a regular helper. Hope to see you there? |

| Sorry I misunderstood your first post NikkiF, it does say ringcraft and schutzhund work so I assumed it was all aspects of schutzhund work, thanks for explaining. It's a fab idea to give help with the training for the Koerung I hope more clubs do the same. Who is doing the protection training ?. |

| reason. Hey up a bit, where the blazes did that come from and why ?. All I did was ask a couple of normal questions before driving a fair few miles to a club. Mo also asked the same question without an answer so what is your or 'the' problem ?. edited spelling mistake. |

| In the first post on this thread, Nikki states "Help with off lead gaiting!" If this "off lead gaiting" is to be applied to the two "Adult Classes" at the British Sieger Event, then the organisers of the British Sieger Event should be aware that several people may be taking a Video of the two Adult Classes actually doing the off lead gaiting, ensuring that exhibits numbers are clearly visible. These video's will possibly be used along with copies of the Event Schedule and catalogue to report the "off lead gaiting" by the dogs in the Adult Classes to the appropriate organisations. |

| I know I am getting old and probably a bit senile too, but I cannot fathom what you are getting at Videx. Who is going to 'report' off lead gaiting and to who and why? Sure it might be a bit 'messy' but I doubt it will be bad enough to warrant reporting to any authorities :) |
by Videx on 28 July 2011 - 17:56 |
| read correctly: "ORGANISATIONS" |
by Abby Normal on 28 July 2011 - 19:33 |
| I see the senility is definitely working.... OK, organisations, what 'appropriate' organisations - I still don't get it!....... |
by Videx on 28 July 2011 - 21:38 |
| That is not my problem to solve. |
by Abby Normal on 28 July 2011 - 22:10 |
| Very cryptic! I will approach the question obliquely: surely anyone who has a mind (?) to, can video the 'on lead' gaiting and 'report' on it (?) as you describe at any event. Why the concern as to whether someone videos and reports on 'off lead' gaiting. What is the distinction? |
by Videx on 28 July 2011 - 23:43 |
| off lead gaiting requires CONTROL - on lead gaiting you have CONTROL - now think about it! |
by Abby Normal on 29 July 2011 - 07:21 |
Well of course I know the distinction between the two, I just meant in terms of *videoing* it. |
by Lennard on 29 July 2011 - 07:43 |
| read correctly: "ORGANISATIONS" sorry Videx, what "organisations" and report them for what?? You go to the Sieger Show in Germany, some of lead gaiting ends up with the Dog escaping and running free, who "reports" them I wonder?? Explain youself more please |
