We imported V Jalk vom Kammeltal ScH 3, IPO 3, FH, Kk1 A Normal, OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal. Joe Tackett put the FH on Jalk here in the USA over very rough terrain and roads. We obtained his OFA for hips and elbows in the US when Jalk was 5 years of age. Because of tragedy in our lives, we were not able to campaign him as we planned. However, Jalk was the finest German Shepherd Dog we have ever had the priviledge to know. Joe has judged for many years and we have both titled a number of dogs, so this statement carries weight. Jalk was a wonderful calm companion housedog, yet he was a fiery ball of drive on the Schutzhund field. He was the hardest gripping sound dog we had ever known. Jalk was structurally gorgeous, but his temperament topped even his great beauty. He was great with children, even the most fragile. Most of all Jalk was our friend.
