Thank you hexe! This isn't the picture that I commented on where I thought she looked snipey. This is the third picture. She looks very nice in this picture doesn't she? I especially like her nice feet which seem to be as rare as hen's teeth these days.

WRT Ginger, the photo does give her a somewhat 'foxy' appearance in the muzzle, but I'm inclined to think that as a mature bitch, she'll look feminine and refined rather than snipey. Looking forward to seeing how she develops...certainly looks to be put together nicely, with lovely coat and coloration, at her age in this puppy shot.

Brandi, there's a significant difference between the word 'snippy' and the term 'snipey'. You posted the definition for the former; the latter is a well-established term used by dog breeders, judges and fanciers to describe a muzzle that is longish, narrowish and more pointed than what is considered to be the standard for a particular breed. It's not something Buddyspal just made up out of thin air--the term actually does appear in the written standards of some breeds.

She's not mine. I met Yenti in Paderborn when she was about 6 months old. She had bone like a male with a femanine look. Really an impressive looking female. Turns out she did well at the sieger show and went to SchH3 with a1 hips. Pretty nice package in a female.

I like some of what I have seen from Yoker too. I'll be watching this litter to see how they develop.

Then you should have just said that! Snipey means just it. FYI, snipey has nothing to do with the "longish" of the muzzle.
The definition of snippy is:
Main Entry: snip·py
Pronunciation: 'sni-pE
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s): snip·pi·er; -est
Etymology: 2snip
1 : SHORT-TEMPERED, SNAPPISH
2 : unduly brief or curt
3 : putting on airs : SNIFFY
Just for your FYI.

Brandi, snipey has nothing to do with disposition. FYI, I was refering to the longish "looking" muzzle.

Snipey?...Just looks like a happy, playful puppy. Snipey is not a fair word to use just by a photo.
Looks like a happy pup to me!

The picture on which I previously commented has been removed & replaced by this one. The pup looks snipey in this picture. Is this your pup Dog1?

This could be a very good litter.

My Grannie just hates when her Chihuahua Pepi does this!

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
