I met Gento when Vinnie Marjonowick from Crown Point owned him. I really liked the old man and despite his age was hard as rock, full of drive and still had a crushing grip on the suit. I last saw worked him after Matt Lowe bought him. I was there with a friend breeding his female to Gento. Even older, but still full of life. I was around several of his progeny and raised a pup from him and a DDR female that I was hoping to one day take to the streets and police with, He ended up coming back from SV with Medium HD. I didn’t want to take a chance and sold him to another trainer. He ended up policing anyway for many years without any problems. This was mainly interdiction on the interstates, The dogs I were around from Gento could be a little sharp, tons of ball drive, all were hard dogs who you never worried about hurting their feelings.
