I own one of Yasko's son's, Had him shipped here from germany, he's the greatest German Shepherd I have ever owned, won't trade him for the world, his beautiful markings, intellegance, companionship, and loyality is a great wonderful gift to me, looks so much like his dad Yasko,

Yasko is with Bill Fleischer of Flerischerheim kennels in the US, but unfortunately he's stopped producing as he's too old.

Yes, I have a Grandson out of him also. Great color, nice neck, he is 11 mths old this week. Mine has lighter color eyes though which is slightly disapointing.

This i find a true to type as per GSD standards.
A perfect gsd with all good characters.
May you produce more good puppies like Larus.
Good luck.

This dog is advertised on the back cover of the newest GSD Review; just got it yesterday and noticed him! (So nice to see Euro dogs getting ads in the Review these days - even while the Greyhound-skinny Collie-headed Redwood-legged Americans are all over and getting the awards.)

I wish to clarify recent questions and statements regarding the ownership and location of VA1 Yasko vom Farbenspiel. When entrees for the NASS Sieger Show were made, the sale of Yasko had not yet been finalized, so he was entered under the names of his German owners at that time.

Shortly before the NASS I returned to Germany, and on behalf of my client, Mr. Gardner Larned of Florida, finalized the sale of Yasko. Yasko then went back to Germany after the Nass to fulfill certain stud obligations.

Yasko will return to the USA in late Oct to be shown with some of his progeny at the USA Sieger Show in Nashville. He will then stand at stud to approved bitches in the Dallas, TX area under my supervision and management.

I have also negotiated the sale of 2003 Siegerin VA1 Kora vom Bierstadter Hof for Gardner. She will also initially go to Dallas to be bred to Yasko and have her litter(s) there. Upon the completion of their breeding careers, Yasko and Kora will then retire to Florida where Mr. Larned can then enjoy these very special GSDs.

I think bill is co owning or barrowing him or something. I cant imagine Farbenspiel selling him off like that. I certainly wouldn't if he was my home bred Shepherd. Does anybody have a video of yasko in NASS 2004?

If Yasko is actually owned by Fleischer, why does the catalog list his breeder (Erwin Wieser) and someone else as owners?

Yasko was at the NASS in the veterans class. He is owned by Bill Fleischer and now resides in the US. His run around the ring was breath taking. WOW!

Deal was in the works at the Sieger show. I suspect you'll see ads up for him before long.

Totally agree with Solo, for me the best progeny group was from Yasko, nothing compared to this group. I missed Nero's and a few others but I also liked the progeny for Yello St.Michaels-Berg.

IMO the best progeny groups at Karlsruhe 2004 were from Yasko and Nero

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
