Carma is now 15mos old and once again has had another case of demodex surface which means another round of treatment. She was spayed after the first round of demodex so the possibilty of coming in heat can be eliminated. Also her new owners have told me that she has very weak nerves and seems to have anxiety issues.  She is very insecure and can not be trusted outside the comforts of her home.  

Selsun Blue was not used as treatment for Demodex, but it does work for many other skin issues. It was used to eliminate any other possibilities. She was was spayed, so the stress from coming in heat as is so comon with an outbreak of Demdex is not the cause for the outbreak this time. Yes, she was taken to the vet and has been diagnosed with Demodex.  Vet statements can prove that.  

There are no other puppies from Wally with demodectic mange.

Sadly this girl developed a very bad case of generalized demodetic mange around 8mos old.  She was placed in a great pet home and was spayed.  I later learned that demodex is common through the mother's lines.
