I am a bit mystified. Pup link below was born in my hads, I made her Momma. I witnessed te tie, I dna'd. I know the stud owner will be a judge at one of her events next week. Given this pedigree litter of 10 all are sold, trully a question. A show dog showed up. We always stud but I know stud owner. I own her and mmystified. Tomorrow got to training with the owner of grandfather's . saying know every thing I would ever possibly tink but litter showed up with a venencance and I always stud. Curious as to you experience in such a matter. All are since sold but will stud again, and was curious where did that show up at? https://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=3134777-medusas-vendetta-of-cerberus?_v=20220609085353

It is a normal looking GSD topline to me. They look like that.

Pup needs to be stretched out a bit more. At that angle, she's hunched under herself.

Better picture would help, from a side view

She’s stacked terribly and shown at a bad angle. Her topline is likely fine

I agree with the comments above.

It's just a very bad pic which you ask an opinion of. from a few people who do this many years.

anyone who has ever won a ribbon can not evaluate from this picture. And it's not the dogs fault at all.

but,
that's JMO,

Stack.

More importantly, she's still YOUNG and still GROWING. GSD typically grow longer then taller, then longer then taller. They sometimes stand funny as they're getting used to being bigger (kind of like teenage boys with growth spurt LOL).  Young GSD are often SPINDLY, too.

Teach her now patience to be put in a stack and hold it however you stack her. She looks like distracted by something (her head is turned) in the photo, in addition to stack issues.

jurkgsd Agree with the others who have posted; you really need to 'stand' the dog properly to photograph her and make assessments of her conformation, this pic does nothing to show the pup off to advantage OR to illustrate what her topline might be like.  And a wealth of difference can be made depending on how she is stacked, and who by !   Not to mention changes which can occur as she gets older.

PLUS something you need to remember :  the GSD is a dog which carries a whole system of genetics. Originally created by blending a variety of types  of German sheepdogs, there are many genes involved, and just because you think you have bred one particuar 'shape' of dog from the recent ancestry you have used does not mean other factors and combinations cannot creep in. Just as pups within a litter may vary as to temperament and working ability, so they can present different physical characteristics from time to time.
