Did anyone else notice something a little odd about the right hip movement in that posted video (page 2 above) or is it just my untrained eye/imagination?

A lot of dogs who have that unnatural gate during obedience must compensate with unorthodox placement of the rear limbs. It may be their proprioception is distorted as they need to bring forward the rear for support of the exaggerated front limb extension, which causes the movement to be out of sync.
