Sounds like you have anger issues. Poor puppy.

Good job, Joanro! That's what we need more arm chair Psychologists. It's NEVER the breeders fault, ever. 15 years and proven pups, but I have anger issues. This pup has an exceptional home, regardless of her behavior. Not that you even know me. Keep up the good work!

Entwerfer, you apparently didn't get what you expected. the mods have allowed this post to survive so I am thinking at least some legitimacy to it.

care to describe how the dog you have differs from your expectations.

and win, lose or draw, I can promise you that I have pulled some spectacular disappointments out of a crate.

my best ones are the ones I put my hands on first. and even that was not 100% but it was on me.

Why did you not return the pup when you decided you hated it?

Poor pup.

I've made it a policy to never adopt a dog without seeing it first.

Only time I've broken that rule was when I took a chance on adopting Eska from Melissa (Melba) and that was definitely NOT a disappointment!

Edit: Okay no one could have predicted she'd get pyometra at 18 months...

Sunni, some people just like to lay blame on every one else and not take responsibility for buying a puppy sight unseen. Especially one they plan on basing their entire restart of their breeding business on....you'd think the person would not rely on someone else's selection.

I will say that the best advice anyone can take is that if one is serious about doing anything serious and spending your time, money, and maybe next 10-15 years, much less base a program on, get in a car, on a train or plane and go and put your eyes and hands on the dog.

also, take the pup/dog away from it's familiar environment and see reaction.

if you can't do that then know 100% who you are dealing with.

next is just prepare to be sad sack and another sad story.

I do think it is helpful to hear why someone feels they did not get what was represented.

I'm absolutely disgusted to see that she's now selling the above dog. So, go pawn your dog off on someone else. Sounds like the dog would be better off being put to sleep to end whatever psychological issue she has. This makes me so mad!
