All my dogs eat like wolves...they gulp their food and are finished eating a meal in seconds, not minutes. No health issues. Dogs are intended to gulp their food. They can't chew efficiently and gulping large chunks as off a carcass, affords them advantage in competition.....

"he who gulps fastest, fasts least." ( Authored by me🤗)

Good quote Joanro  and gulp mine do in hope of convincing me that I never fed them I think from the looks on their faces.

Mine gulp too guys.
Canine vacuum cleaners.
Bowl content inhaled within seconds.
They just sling the chunks back! Nothing adverse happened yet in all these years. Knock on wood!

It amazes me how fast they can down a chicken leg quarter with no competition. One maybe two bites and swallow.

That's what they are supposed to do genetically.
In my case the food bowl is gone as soon as they don't eat immediately/within seconds.

I know Western!
Raw chicken back carcasses go down with 3-4 chomps. Amazing! And they always come out the other end in nice tidy packages.😅
