Your description of how they make her stand may mean her stance in the Ring is 'wrong' for what many Judges will like, too, as they will make her look "wide" in rear. Its because the genes were present in some of the old bloodlines that uninformed breeding can bring them out again.

I believe you might find 'foreign' judges marking down harder on things like this. If you are going to shows, even a limited number, please download the Standard (preferably both AKC and FCI versions), and read & compare them. I think you will find that will be of benefit to you.
