Office phone does not answer or return calls. All five officer phones either no longer work or answer incoming calls.

Are score books now defunct?

Sad that two people could totally destroy a big organization.

Number two has just moved on and is number one just pleased that he could do this? Which club would accept him as a member now?

Oh, he still has planned a closed conference call on June 5 for his huge board. Is he to announce he has won all law suits and with all the money he has been awarded will startup a new group?

Again very sad to do all this evilness over and over to so many people.

I am way behind times. How about a short synopsis as to who/what happened to cause the WDA to disappear.

You are asking a lot Fantom, it could result in mischief. The WDA died in 2014, this is old news and some would rather let sleeping dogs lie. The demise has its incubation, turning point, climax, and devolution. I will attempt to give a brief summary, against my better judgment.

The WDA was made strong around 2010 by a few factors; the firstmost being the breeders took it upon themselves to cooperate for the good of the breed and the strength of them all. The second was leadership of the WDA created an environment where this cooperation could flourish, the third being the JA making USCA inhospitable. The WDA was strong under the leadership of Danny Spreitler, then Cindy Petersen, and it would have continued if Gail Kirkwood would have won the election.

There was no controling the hijinks after Yee became President. There were moves that were made to chase out the knowledgeable, ethical people. The turning point was the 2012 Siegershow. After being placed in the catalog and showing up at the event, Yee changed the rules to keep Mittlewest out of the Kennel group competition. Yee also changed the rule at the event for the American bred titles. All the rule changes were to benefit one kennel. The judging was fair but anything Yee touched stunk. I view Yee as no more than a useful idiot.

Yee found help from the then President of the SV. The joke continued as 2013 NASS was declared the WUSV Siegershow. The cost overruns of the WUSV working dog championships was the climax. GSDCA refused to pay for what they warned Yee not to pay for, Yee sued. Sanity was restored with the new SV President. The litigation became no more than harassment. 2014 NASS was canceled and the WDA ended there.

Thanks. I have always claimed there was too much politics in dog shows.

Dan Yee is the reason there is no professionally produced videos of the 2013 WUSV

in Philadelphia.

As a comparison, that would be like telling all the TV networks  NO to coverage of the olympics when it happened to be in your country.

Well, BE, if WDA is still operational, one thing they might want to do is fix the link on under "Event Results" for NASS...since as of right now, that link opens to a web page for something called "The North American Sex Toy Show" in Las Vegas. I couldn't have made that up if I'd tried. The new member applications are interesting, too....the Baroness and Lord of Sutton?

The only event that appears to be scheduled for 2017 is an Executive Board conference call in June.

The whole situation is bizarre.
