1: 1000 ? Even more? I don´t know.
Duke didn´t wake up one day and knew how to evaluate dogs. He trained, and he learned.
That´s what I try to tell people: Train and learn, not more, not less

Pretty sure a person like duke, who had a desire to train and supply PSD and msd, spent the time as an apprentice or similar to learn how.

But we all agree that training is imperative for a working dog breeder.

We're horrible in the USA at protecting our best friends. From the corrupt veterinary profession pumping our dogs full of meds, having no responsibility when they do anything wrong, to the collusion in veterinary boards who will never prosecute their own, to the laws that make our IPO3 KKL V rated dog as worthless in court as a lawn chair, we suck with animals.

I'm looking at a breeding from the Netherlands right now, and also wanted to import a 3-3 Pilot linebreeding but not sure if that's going to happen.
Also, Vucan, Henrik Wolfsheim etc.

Why are the same breeders on this thread importing, you should be exporting, very confusing.
by duke1965 on 28 April 2017 - 04:04
susie, your 1-1000 numbers will be only good for germany, than also czech, slovak, belgium and holland have more sport than police dogs, the rest of the world is the other way around.
as long as people breed papers first, in whatever country in the world, they will not succeed on long term
by vk4gsd on 28 April 2017 - 04:04
It is about the value of titling and breed surveying the breed.
Sheesh why a minority here can't think past their own vested interests and use everything as an excuse to defend and promote themselves until they can't think straight.
