Shawnicus, he looks like a nice dog. As far as the video shows, all the tools are there to work with, but what made me smile is YOUR dog doing what you say you hate. "Howling for the sleeve". Your scenario is a tough one. The decoy doesn't have much of an opportunity to put your dog into a different drive. He is a rabbit in a hole. Your dog wants the rabbit and his behavior is in accordance to the scenario.

Chaz you're right on , he's a wgwl so he's a prey monster , this dog mainly works out of prey which mekes him very very easy to work with , he will hunt till he drops and has on point obedience , but he can and does switch to defense when turned on.

Well, that's why neither one of us like the begging for the sleeve in the blind, because there is a training choice that can be made in that scenario. Prey drive is a good thing. I'm not at all saying you want to work your dog solely in it, but it has great benefits. You can't beat a dog with a heavy dose of prey with a serious side, good nerves, and confidence. I know you're against sport, but there are some nice dogs and trainers mixed in. Maybe if you stop being a lazy, candy-ass, you could teach a dog to track, have precise obedience, and enjoy taking H.I.T. in protection. You might even enjoy it.
