Recommend breeder of working lines in Texas?

Wondering if anyone could recommend a breeder of working lines in or around Dallas Texas area? I have contacts in Germany and beginning to think its better to go straight to the source. I've emailed one breeder 3 times and have yet to get a answer. Another I spoke too and seemed they really could careless about talking with me about their dogs. Thank you!

Vom Gatorland Shepherds is a kennel in Louisiana. Well worth the drive. He breeds old world DDR GSD. They breed not only for looks ... big heads ,deep nose, dark sables but for their working ability in dog sport and personal protection or SAR dogs. Ronnie is a man of his word, he's old school as a handshake means way more to him than a motorized piece of paper!!! Tell him Allen Cunningham in Alabama with Nala sent you. He is more honest that a sober judge.

I am in Oklahoma and have 2 males currently available. They are Black and Red West German Working lines. Breeding has Larus Vom Batu, Nero Vom Noebachtal and Yasko Vom Farbenspiel. Let me know if you want pictures! also, theres a very good breeder in Sherman and her website is Nobleheim Shepherds. Another in Amarillo is Volkommen Shepherds. I really feel sorry for the OP - while asking for WORKING LINE breeders he gets the names of showline breeders...

To the OP: I don´t know how experienced you are, but search for breeders titling and breeding their own stock...

In case you really want to train your dog ( no matter the venue ) don´t buy a dog out of unproofed parents only because they are sable, or only because someone titled them somewhere.

Color doesn´t matter, even "working" or "showline" doesn´t matter - only prooven working ablity.
