Dam: Yalta Von der Maaraue
Wonderful dogs produced. One of the dogs had a variation of a gene. A PHd was researching this regular gene and begged me to contact the owners of other dogs out of the above dogs or their offspring. The first two litters were born in California but some might have been shipped out of state.
I insisted that the breeder get the parents Hanko and Aga registered AKC and I helped AKC to get them registered. She only wanted them registered USCA.
After the pups were sold, her life changed and she moved far away and became very uncooperative about anything. It is very likely she didn't keep the paperwork.
Before she moved, she had said that she let Hanko work schutzhund someplace. But I think that was all she did in that area.
Except for two dogs the rest of the pups could have gone into just house dog homes which is a shame as they were highly intelligent and loved having a job.
A pup or two could have gone to Fl.
It is really too bad that a contact could not have been kept amongst the owners, but the breeder didn't allow that even though the pups were wonderful.
Any suggestions in regard to learning the pup owners?
