Babbles, I´d PM Hundmutter, she may know some breeders fitting your needs.
It´s always better to see the dog by yourself than to believe in advertisements ( buying online ).
Are there any dog clubs / breed clubs in your surrounding? Google search may help.

There is a poster "Kaffirdog" on this forum - I never met her, don´t know her dogs - but the videos shown are pretty good, she TRAINS her dogs, seems to know her stock, worth a try in case she is not living too far away.

Guys, while i appreciate you taking the time posting on my thread, i would like to remind you that i am looking for specific breeders in specific countries..
I like the way people assume things on PDB..

OP,
My recommendation to you, would be to find the best breeder you can and get a puppy. You will have over a year to research and find a good trainer that can help you train the dog. Unless you're willing to pay $20,000+ For a fully obedience and protection dog, you need to learn a few things. I'm sorry, but if you don't even know what to look for, how to test, find a breeder, how in the hell are you going to be able to know how to open a bag of dogfood? Seriously, why as a breeder or trainer would I turn over a dog to someone that is as green as you are? Im not trying to be mean. I think you should try to buy the nicest puppy you can and have zero expectations. Learn with this puppy and have your family learn with it too. By taking it to training, you will be learning the essential tools to owning and handling a dog.

Chaz c'mon man, dont you have any friends to chit chat with? Why do you have to talk crap when someone is asking a couple of genuine questions?! Bad boy!
