Recently in a lot of ads : "The dog is located in Europe..."

"Europe" is not SV, not even necessarily FCI, there are major differences and rules within the countries!
A lot of countries don´t ask for working titles, show results, DNA, age, or health tests prior to breeding.
Just do your homework!

There are so many individuals and companies using this sort of misleading advertising technique to sell everything, from dogs - as is the case on PDB - to items of clothing, to just about anything you can name, if it involves a product where some kudos can be gained from suggesting it originates in one country rather than another.

We get "Buy British", with the implication stuff is made in the UK; only once you have bought it, does it transpire it is something which isn't allowed to claim it was e.g. 'made in England', 'cos then you discover it was put together in China or somewhere, with cheap labour.

Unfortunately this is more & more a symptom of the times we live in. Honesty in trading seems to be becoming extinct. Never has it been so necessary for anyone spending money on anything to do their own "due diligence".
