SO, it's been quite some time since I bought a pup. I used to have east german lineage dogs (or east/west blended) and ended up going west work line. Now looking to go back to east lines that have been properly preserved over the years. I don't mind Czech mixed in but looking for more traditional east lines. I have been on the Jinopo site and that is an option. Who else would you refer to in Germany, Czech, etc. Having a hard time finding breeders in the US with such lines which title their breeding dogs or if they do have titled dogs, they only sell on limited papers without an option to change with titles/health certs but if you have a suggestion for a US breeder meeting those requirements, I would be happy to take that as well.
Suggestions......... I am in no hurry.
Thanks

What is so special about that Czech eastern lines I have never understand that hype..
IMO you have more choice in the western lines ,also a lot of eastern lines are mixed.

There are a lot of dogs that have very nice pedigrees and are very nice dogs that do have good DDR Bloodlines in their past...
Maybe look for a dog that is what you want and then check the pedigree and see if it meets what you desire...
What is it that you are looking for...exactly? Big Head...Dark Pigmentation...Big Bone...?

But just so you know, since you care so much, my first dogs were Eastern dogs (second/third generation) and, yes, had bigger heads, darker pigment, bigger bone, higher drive, honestly more level temperament in my experience. My west dogs are all over the board when it comes to temperament. I am not saying I don't like many specific lines in the west or even Belgian work lines, but right now, that's not what I am looking for. I would rather narrow things down to find a breeder who generally breeds what I am looking for and then compare the pedigrees from there instead of looking at every pedigree out there to see who may be 3/4/5/6 generations back and then work my way back to a breeder. Is that ok with you?
