Don't get all worked up over how he sits. That is so blown out of proportion, it's ridiculous. I have never had a puppy who sat perfectly all the time.

Welcome to Oklahoma. I'm in the OKC area. I heard that puppies will grow out of that lazy sit. I'd definitely wait until he's 2 to do the xrays.

That makes me feel better, as far as retrieving it blew me away at how natural he was and how much he likes it. I had 2 labs that I hunted w almost every weekend during dove and duck season and I can honestly say as far as basic retrieving on land he does it just as well as they did.
