"I loved the dog and wished I could keep him. "

Wishing you could have kept him doesn't sound like what you said about him before. It's good for your experience to have interacted with a dog like that, albeit for a limited time, so that you can appreciate what he is and that type of dog.

Sorry, I thought PITA was a known acronym to you, but I'm sure you've figured it out by now, lol.

Koots, I agree; the 'difficult' ones always teach you much more than the easy-train, easy-going dogs !

Honestly, I don't get it.

We've had some of the toughest dogs on the field, yet they were easy to manage in the house.
Personally, how easy or hard a dog is to manage in the house has absolutely nothing to do with his working qualities. I'd rather stay away from a dog that makes my life considerably harder. I want to enjoy my dog, not dread coming home to a destroyed house over and over.

I want a dog that won't go stir crazy when people come to the house, a dog I don't have to manage and a dog that doesn't go bat shit crazy just because he hasn't had 5 hours of exercise.

The reason we get a dog is to enjoy them, to enjoy life with them.

Growing up we've had so many dogs come in and out, I've fostered so many dogs over the last 6 years, boarded dozens and dozens of dogs of all different types in my home and have the good, the bad and ugly ones...

I'm at a point where I don't want the difficult ones anymore. Give me the easy ones anytime because I honestly had enough of the difficult ones. People know I specialize in difficult but I had enough for a lifetime. Lemme have easy dogs. Easy to live with and easy to train dogs.

Ya'll can have the difficult dogs. I'm happy with my super balanced, relaxed and solid dogs here.

What I did like about him was that he was VERY manly; like tostesterone flowing from his a#%&.
I was shocked to see a dog constantly willing to physically confront and overpower a human being to get his way. I just did not expect it from a dog.

Hang him on the pinch or drop a huge weight next tp him... he did not bothered. Try to feed him, he will take the food from you whether ypu chose to give him or not. To be honest it was more like s shock to me.

The original breeder is offering me his full brother , who is also hard to manage (10-15 lbs heavier ) , but can live in the house.

You can have testosterone without having a dog that will try to overpower you in your own house. It's one thing in training, another in your house. That's when the dog is too much for someone to handle (or it's not actual confidence) because otherwise, they wouldn't need to push you around and challenge your position on a daily basis.

Baren
I think he is a genetic dominant with some kind of feral spin, and his early /first owners allow him to validate that tendency over and over again.
I know of someone who is trying to place an import 3-3 on Gildo Korbelbach because he is way too much for the family for which he was imported.

Do you have more information about that dog having to be placed? 3-3 on Gildo is rather rare these days. Where can I get in contact with said family?

The full brother to the one I boarded or the 3-3 on Gildo?

The 3- 3 on Gildo is being sold at a reduced price.

The 3-3 Gildo obviously. :)
You can send me a private message with the information of how to contact owners
