Good day. What are you looking for a pup for? Sport, protection, pet?

I, personally, wouldn't get a puppy from this breeding.

There aren't any health tests or working titles on the parents, three grandparents don't have working titles and the other grandparent only has BH and AD. Two grandparents don't have health tests, either. I don't see any elbow tests at all.

If I was getting a pup from this breeding, I'd only spend a few hundred dollars, not $1,000+.

This is all I can say from the pedigree shown. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=2540869-atila-die-blume-stadt

Agree with Reliya do not see any health clearances or titles. It is possible they just did not put them in the pedigree but why not?? Also what have they done with the dogs beside breed them? Nan

I reflect the concern about hip/elbow testing as well. There are many litters from breeders with all hip/elbow tested individuals if you do some research. Good luck finding your pup, and take your time as a little bit of time invested now will help (not guarantee) you find a healthy companion for the next 10+ years.

The best piece of advice I can give to anyone looking to invest in buying a puppy/dog is to find someone that you trust and take them with you to give their opinion on the puppy/dog in question or to help choose one...

Although I do agree with having some health tests such as Hip/Elbow Evals. I don't necessarily agree on some of the other health tests which aren't reliable enough to offer any real help...I also don't put the credence in that you have to have titles on a dog to be worthy of breeding...but I do believe that a dog that you want or want to breed should have good working ability...

There are now registries in Germany at agree and follow this thinking...A good working dog is a good working dog with or without titles...But a dog should offer something to the breed to be worthy of breeding...

Just remember whatever puppy/dog you choose for you and your family is for a long time and not to be taken lightly...So find someone that can help you make a wise decision..

I find it odd that there's already a repeat breeding being planned when the results of the first one were just whelped in June...it's certainly far too early to know if this was a good pairing of mates, if it has produced offspring that are mentally and physically sound and correct. That suggests to me that the breeder is more interested in the bitch earning her keep and paying their bills, than they are in producing good dogs.

Not a 'program' I'd want to be on-board with, on that basis alone.
