Just so you know Admins did not remove the videos that I know of

Mithuna, I don't really care what you're 'into'. You alleged that you asked me to post photos of my dogs, I obliged even though I don't recall you asking. I'm not 'into' show dogs, I'm 'into' dogs that are well-trained, biddable, and display APPROPRIATE aggression when the situation calls for it. With the exception of one American-lines rescue that was fear aggressive, the GSDs I've had--both the rescues and the registered ones--have fit that bill to a 'T'. As for Anna, truly the only thing 'wrong' with her is the attitude of her handler, and I sincerely hope she doesn't end up paying the ultimate price for that problem. She is the dog you permitted her to be when you chose not to set boundaries for her behaviors.

Hardcase, I knew everything I needed to know about you when I saw where you obtained your other young dog. That speaks volumes about your experience and knowledge. I, too, would like to see these videos you apparently posted for a fleeting few moments--were they videos of YOUR dogs, or dogs belonging to other people?

Mithuna, though both my last two GSDs were technically 'rescues' (ie 'unwanted') and while I have said I am now in the market to give an older rescue dog a home, which will suit my own age and health, I NEVER SAID my earlier dogs were "Strays". They were retirees or left-overs from a perfectly good breeding kennel, whose main purpose was Show but from where several dogs had gone into Prison, Security, and Police homes.

Shawnicus, are all those empty boxes attempts by you to post pics & videos ? If so you must have the biggest collection of invisible GSDs of anyone on the board.

It is hard to believe anyone could be so irresponsible as to allow and encourage this type of behavior.

This are the videos (he)  ??removed I don,t wanna dish this guy but when go to the basics i think he will tell us that the GSD  global today miss some good  natural agression

than he has a point, When I.m well this guy also has some pitts ? but hope

he realise GSD will never become pitbull....

But his videos tell me nothing  but thats OK what I said before a video tells only a few seconds or minutes from the whole dog and  most time people show only what they think its good.....

Thank you for posting the URL's, Black Malinois--co-sign your comment on video #4. Made me sad to watch that. He's got another one like it, same three dogs on a bite wedge, it drags on for almost 14 minutes.

Hoping he'll decide to get Boerboels or some other breed, and stop trying to ruin two perfectly decent, perfectly normal GSDs.

[BTW, Shawni, your older pup isn't a 'Czech dog'--he's primarily West German lines, with some Belgian and East German dogs in the mix. His mother may have come out of a Czech kennel, but 3/4 of her lineage is West German, for that matter. Hell, your younger pup has more Czech breeding behind him than the older one.]

So if that young dog is the puppy in question…I see absolutely zero aggression there. I see a dog barking out of frustration, definitely out of excitement when introduced to another dog, and then a puppy who is asked to bark when he’s a little unsure of a situation. Pup actually seems quite stable. Wouldn’t bark if he were allowed to investigate the new things he sees instead of being held back and taught to bark at them. These are good videos of what “porch training” would look like. Dog is unsure of a new thing, dog barks at the new thing, handler holds the dog back and promotes the confusion and also the barking, dog learns that when it feels a little worried about a new object/person/dog that it should bark. All of this can easily be rectified by allowing the dog to investigate. Can also be easily stopped with a no from the handler and reassuring the dog everything is fine. This particular handler wants the dog to react in the way that it is, so the handler is rewarding the behavior. This dog isn’t overly aggressive or genetically defensive, handler just wants it to be.

Congrats on the nice pup!
