Geez Its really getting super old haters.

Can we get past the are you experienced game from people with no experience, now.

Joan distance of the training clubs is a big problem for PSA especially in west. We had training club here and it was about 40 miles from here. ( No big distance for AZ). I went to compete hundreds of even thousands of miles in IPO. You can get involved and start your own club. I do not know how it is now but in past PSA supported such effort. I have actually sponsored PSA trial in Phoenix.

But good decoys are hard to come by, is the main prob.
When I sch trained my dogs, I drove over 100 miles round trip to clubs to proof them, after training them completely at home.
Then when I titled them, I traveled almost three hundreds miles one way for sch l for my Czech male.
Then the next weekend, i drove 500 miles one way for my Czech female's sch l.
Then three weeks later, I drove 300 miles one way to put sch all on that female and same day put sch l on my show male.
The bhs I put on them at two different clubs altogether, a couple months earlier, going to two different states.
So I know about traveling for this stuff. But I made my living for thirty years driving all over the continent performing with my trained animals, and I'm supposed to be retired from the road now. That's why I enjoy being able to stay home, stead of living out of a truck and trailer with dogs and horses for majority of my life.

Joan no I did not pass PSA2 that day. No shame in that especially in difficult PSA. My dog had PSA1 from past thus I could compete n that category. I was second because if my memory serves me well I had second highest total score but one discipline was slightly below minimum to get title where the other discipline was higher to compensate and assured me 2nd place. . Thus my friend Billy Rayes who passed PSA 2 that day was 3rd. Yes in open ANYBODY with certain qualifications can enter yet I have not seen you there Beetree with your pet dogs nor Joan for that matter. Yet I was 2nd from entire country in open if that to you is dazzling with BS then so be it .  I am actually quite proud of it  and of my great dog Varo. Competition is extremely difficult and there are ever changing scenarios set ups so it is nothing like SchH or IPO of KNPW or ring sport or any other sport where there are just routines. Also Joan and bee tree how many tiles of PSA have you put on your dogs?  

For once I will give credit  to GSDfan and to duke of even joan they  at least in comparison to   breetree  have  some working dog background to disagree with me.

We need a psa back in Az. You would think supply and demand would fill more of the decoy work that is needed right now its really a big problem, if you dont mind travelling a bit there is plenty of job security if you are half way decent.

I get tired of being hated on myself just because I think it best to learn correctly, the first time from the best with experience. Helps me set my own default. I really trust GSDFan's opinion as she clearly isn't part of a group out to protect each other's ______ and _________.

Hopefully she will be revisiting this thread and can give those documents an honest critique. I am sure I am not the only newbie to PSA sport, here, wanting to comprehend what it all means. This site is for learning, so I have been told many times over.

Oh, and btw---, Hans purposed this thread to stir things up. He should not complain then, when he gets what he asked for.

I would be interested in the full name of the dogs ( Varo / Kelly ), because I would like to know more about their lineage. It´s a shame they only mention the call name of the dogs...almost impossible to track down a dog.

A lot of Malinois/ Dutch Herders in this sport, I think a German Shepherd dog should be mentioned with its kennel name...

Hans, why would I 'be there ' at a psa trial, when I was training and titling my dogs in schutzhund. No one is criticizing you for not getting qualifying score. I've been there done that. Anyone who ever goes to title a dog enough times will experience not qualifying.
The 'dazzle em' comment was joking about the extremely long posts which appear on forums...way too long to focus eyes on without going blind.

Did you train Fox? What are the full names of fox and varo ?

Btw.I did explain that regionals are open for anyone to enter for title, not necessarily competing.
