I recently did business with Bob. He is a reliable and honest business man and he knows a true working dog when he sees one. I can only speak for my experience, and it was all positive. It is refreshing to work with someone who isn't all about the money.

I have arrived. I would gladly send the results of the DNA testing to ANY admi that would like to see about the dog in question. an Would gladly send copies of the AKC FULL rights papers I have... to Mr. Fox you have no clue who I am. I have NEVER handed you money for any dog. as for an AKC form you wrote my name an address in for me... Again I have never met you face to face. I can provide pictures of the AKC BLUE form to this dog where you never wrote my name ( because you don't know me) or anyone but the dogs name in.

Bob Fox I am still waiting for you to explain what part of that pedigree is fake so that it may be corrected and your proof.

Richie, so you are upset that your dog is a DM carrier? Even with 2 "clear" dogs, you can still get a carrier.

"Richie, so you are upset that your dog is a DM carrier? Even with 2 "clear" dogs, you can still get a carrier."

No, you can't, hence the designation, "clear by parentage."

by Blitzen on 01 October 2015 - 12:10

Simple recessive:

normal x normal = 100% normal

affected x  affected = 100% affected

normal x affective - 100% carrier

carrier x normal = 50% normal, 50% carriers

carrier x affected =  50% affected & 50% carriers.

carrier x carrier =  25% normal, 50% carriers & 25% affected.

AKC will  issue a "clear by parentage" for only one generation.

Where is it I say I am upset.? I deal with carriers all the time, looks like your reading into something that isn't even a problem.

by hntrjmpr434 on 01 October 2015 - 17:10

Sorry Keith, but the testing is so unreliable. I have had dogs get 2 different results, so which one would I go by? Tons of info out there with DM "clear" dogs developing DM.
