Short memories...(BTW, I don't know him from Adam...)

Bob Fox is also the gentleman that drove from Ohio to NC this past January to rescue this girl:

So credit where credit is due...

I remember that, Pioneer Wife. I also remember the reaction of many when it happened. Like I said then, glad she's alive...I hope she ended up in a good place and that she was pulled for the right reasons.

It doesn't make other experiences with the man any less real Wink Smile  The topic was a general "anyone know of..." so I added my experience.  He may have a good heart- but I have witnessed very obnoxious attacks on several folks who dared disagree with him. If it was an adult dog he happened to own, maybe...but to buy a puppy and rely on him to have done his homework and to stand by the dog...well....I keep flashing back to the assault on me for GIVING away a pup with a potential problem. Buyer beware, I guess, like in all things. Regular Smile

I question this as well since he was actively looking for a dog with aggression issues on his FB page.  Why?

Keith, that's what I was referring to. I remember some discussion on that but I don't know him nearly well enough to say he had any ulterior motive. Just shared my experience with his "breeding philosophy."

I posted this out of curiosity. I network German Shepherds in shelters across USA. Recently Bob was going to take what was said to be 3 years somewhat aggressive GSD in shelter in TN. Bob was sent $750.00 to his PayPal account before dog was out of building with freedom pics. It was said he was demanding dog not be altered as he was going to train him to be PD. Thing is unaltered dogs is Taboo in rescue world with the overpopulation of unwanted dogs. Upon further investigation he has actually achieved this is several others shelters. One in NC and possibly but not certain one in FL? It has been said in networking ring he is breeding these dogs of unknown origin and selling the puppies. I don't know that for a fact but some are claiming it. My only concern is for the dogs well being. If he is training them and finding them good forever homes, wonderful. Altered of course. Thanks
