Capri has always been a favorite of mine too. Beautiful conformation and breed type.

Absolutely love a female that has the correct conformation and produces well.  That would be Capri, also love all the stadfeld dogs that I have only seen pic's of.

Loved Tina JipoMe;  nice nice conformation and can work...  What a concept.  Thanks to all for sharing.  Nan

I really apprecial seeing a lot of very nice females...I have a special place in my heart for a Beautiful...Good Working...Good Producing FEMALE...My heart goes a Bump Bump when I see one...

Optic Nerve: I'm afraid I don't agree with you about it's easy to find a very good female...I travel overseas and have seen a lot of very good females...then ask if she's for sale...The answer is always "NO"...but I have another female for sale...

Maybe I'm looking at it like a breeder but it's NOT easy to find a very good female...One that works well and produces well...To me it's easy to find a good male...'cause all I have to do is pay a "stud fee" and it's done...

Now...If you're looking for a TOP Male for Training and going to High Level Trials then it's a different story...

Whenever I'm looking for dogs...like for other people...I always have my eyes open for a super nice female...

Here is one of my females...She's a super nice working female and produces well...

Fenja vom Rabenturm...

Another beautiful and sound female, Bob, and a great producer for you to put the icing on the cake.

IMO this thread proves that there are typy females with sound conformation of ALL lines that can produce good progeny. We may not always agree on the definition of a REAL GSD, but there is no denying that there are some great looking and great producing females in the breed.

Q is correct, the real good females normally are not for sale - and that´s okay with me.
They are the foundation and the key element for every serious breeder.
Off topic, but it´s a shame some of them are sold when they become old...at least breeders should try to find a loving and caring "forever home" for them, instead of selling them to the next wanna be breeder...
