Baerenfangs Erbe

Are you completely ignoring the fact that he has destroyed Wetlands which is a huge deal in Cape Cod? It's not just about a fence, it's about Wetlands.

Also, barking and smell. I live two doors down from someone whose dog is barking 8 hours straight. Used to run at large, going after people. That dog is driving me insane. I wouldn't want to live next to someone, in a residential area, whose got over 20 dogs. When 20 dogs start barking... that's an insane noise, which is why there are ordinances. These people moved into a residential area and not a business district, for a reason. How would you like it, if you lived in an A Zone neighborhood and had to deal with 20 dogs barking, the smell, the tourists and whatnot. On top of that livestock....

Not cool. He should have moved to the correct zoning from the very beginning. He even could have had his breeding business but on a smaller scale but he had to buy more and more dogs, had to bring more and more attention onto himself.

Honestly, everything that is happening, he brought that onto himself. No one else did. He's parading around that town like a celebrity, he is acting like a celebrity, now deal with the consequences of breaking ordinances and therefor the law!

As long as you talk about Linus, the BREEDER is German, so why do you talk about the BREEDER all the time? Is he involved?

Otherwise I´m glad I´m not involved..... somewhere might be the truth.

I am still shaking my head over the idea that prostitution is not immoral. Whatever is this world coming to?

Alsoadoglover, If you took the time to read the comments the breeder that imported Linus (yes Suzie, we know the breeder is in Germany) was under the same thoughts others of us were initially. When Linus' AKC number was entered originally, it stated he was still competing this year. However, the database was showing info for a different dog and breed instead of Linus. Linus has actually not competed since 2011, which I just confirmed with AKC. The same person who Linus was sold to is the same person the individual contacted when they were caring for Linus.

Read, it does a great deal of good in understanding.

beetree, That person is so far the only one banned from the Facebook page lol. Even Augusto can go on and argue until he is blue in the face but alsoadoglover, aka Anastasia, is downright nasty. She is just attempting to stir up trouble and show how low her morals are.

I can only write the following:

I imported Linus; worked him; had him shown in club and regional events (would have Nationally but we DQ'd in the heel to blind exercise); and sold the dog with all of his paperwork as the person was going to learn Schutzhund training and try to compete; you cannot limit registration on a dog that has been imported (otherwise I would have done this)

I would be happy to privately share the name of the individual from Denver, CO who purchased the dog. Linus was koered from 2010-2011 and did not get his lifetime survey done before the alotted time frame.

The Linus I knew (very well) would NEVER allow a person to abuse him and was a very dominant male.

Reading all of this has made me absolutely sick! It is horrible for any dog and if that was really my former dog, I am emotionally sick and very disturbed! He never deserved that!! He was a noble and wonderful dog! It is becoming impossible to trust anyone!

Sooooo.... why don't you contact the guy from Denver who you placed the dog with... and ask him if he really did SELL it to the freak back east...

I'd be pretty ticked off to find out that he sold a  "placed" dog without checking with you beforehand.

What club did this dog get titled at??    The Chaffins??  His name sounded vaguely familiar.

Once the dog is sold, the dog is sold. If there is not a clause with a first right of refusal there is nothing you can do about it, and the new owner has absolutely NO obligation to let the previous owner know. It's no longer your dog. As much as it sucks, so there is no use to being ticked off about it, if there hasn't been a specific contract. If there was, and he did, sue him. At least let him pay for it. Even though it won't change that Linus is dead now.

Yes! There is a clause that states every dog/puppy I place that I get rights of first refusal! Because of this type of situation .. I am also looking for answers..

Linus was sold already having attainted his SchH 3 ... I believe he worked with American School of Dog Training... With 'Vince'?? Off of I-76 and 88th Avenue?
