I'm so tired of all the snow here in SW Ontario and would love to see some of people's favourite spring photos. It feels like winter is never going to end! Here are two of my favourite spring photos from last year.

This photo was taken on an unseasonably warm day in early March in 2012. It was the first day that both of Bosco's ears were up and he was so proud of them. :)

In the photo below, I love how green the grass is; the grass doesn't seem to stay green long here due to the heat and the lack of rain. Martin had just started tracking with Bosco.

We're having a lovely winter this spring aren't we? I can't wait for the nice weather to kick in so we can get back out with the camera! I've got tons, and I'd upload a few, but for whatever reason I can't get the damn thing to work for me today. :\

Well, I have seen a few signs of spring in my area (just north of Toronto.)
The Canada geese are back, and the stinkbugs and house flies are starting to come out of hibernation and fly around the kennel.

And the hall-loading signs have gone up on the rural roads.

I'm expecting to see a robin any day now. Last year, my resident pair nested on top of the motion sensor light on the garage, and two years ago, it was the coach light by the back door. Guess they like lights!

I'll know spring is REALLY here when the crested flycatcher returns to her nest in the shed!

April, 2007, the day I brought Star home. These pics were taken at the breeder's place in Ohio.
