Brandi

I saw this advertisement and the headline alone grabbed my attention: "Turn Key". Then, I saw, well, a nice looking dog so I continued on with the ad. Then came the You Tube videos. I just don't understand people. Not to mention the terrible "protection" and obedience work, but the dog is "screaming" for help as he's so confused. Hope someone buys this dog to get it out of the home it's in.

Brandi,
That dog is a pet;  and as overweight as the owner.
Who tries to sell off a dog that's been their house dog ?
Its a 'stud' ad. but reads like he is selling the dog.

As for the training - yes the dog is getting confused, largely
due to handler incompetance;  but how do you get the idea
that he's 'screaming' in the videos ?  I see a dog without strong
nerve, but not one in real distress.
Using your dog-nervous wife as first a bite-decoy and then
a handler is RIDICULOUS.  Hasn't this cowboy got a club
to go to ?

Did he think he'd get more people willing to pay a stud fee if he
attempted some 'protection'  with the dog ?
JMO, & my '2 cents'.  Linda Swift.

Sounds to me like he is selling the dog. I agree, he has been primarily a pet dog. Probably bought as a trained dog, but the owner has not kept it up and doesn't really know what he is doing. Now wants to show it off to help 'sell' the dog - and sadly plenty of people sell their 'pet' dogs. Personally mine would only be sold over my rotting corpse........ Yes, the dog is confused, because the handler is so bad and the dog probably hasnt done this stuff for a while, but I don't think the dog is terribly bothered, and I really don't think this is what he does day to day. I think he probably plays with the football more likely.  I thought the wife in the balaclava was rather hilarious. But I don't see a dog in trouble.

i saw the ad as well and did the same thing you did Brandi, but at the time didnt watch the videos. Now that I have, hmmm wouldnt buy him for 7k. There are just too many dogs out there for way less money and better genetic testing to spend money on.
