We have a nice member from Alexandria, Egypt, he hasn't posted since long time and I didn't speak to him since long, last time he made a post, he was visiting in the U.S if I remember correctly, anyway he's a trustworthy person and a real gentleman, please try contacting him, he might be able and willing to help. Here's his e mail:
tarekezzelarabpms@yahoo.com

Good luck, Ibrahim

Thank you Ibrahim, I will contact your friend to see if he knows this person/kennel.

Cmills, didn't you have a similar thing happen to you a dog you bought long distance but never received?  I'm not saying it's your fault, but for heaven's sakes, didn't the first experience teach you anything about making overseas purchases without having someone trustworthy and reputable representing you at the place the dog was located???

Hexe, no I got what I paid for before, and if you don't have anything nice or helpful to say, then stay out of this.  This person was supposed to be reputable, and had many references I checked PRIOR to sending money, I guess he just got greedy at the end.  I'm posting this for others to BEWARE of him, not for ones like you to say crap about!

And I guess I should add that I'm not done with this, and am not going to just let it go. I have a co-worker from Egypt, with family still there, and they will be looking for this guy when he least expects it.

Cmills, unless there was an update later, it would appear that my recollection is somewhat more accurate than yours, as you posted here that you most certainly did NOT get "what you paid for" with Uran:

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/bulletins.read?mnr=242666#242759

At that time, you'd gotten the dog, but there were no registration papers, no evidence of hip & elbow certs, no evidence of test results for brucellosis testing and breeding soundness examination, and you were overcharged for shipping as well...and were trying to get the refund the seller had promised you.

Look, I'm not saying this is your fault...it's just surprising to me that after your problems with getting Uran's papers, etc., you'd risk sending  full payment in cash  for two dogs to someone who claims to be employed by GSD Rescue of Los Angeles, yet has a GSD kennel in Egypt, and another in Russia, especially if you'd never actually had hands-on with the dogs and didn't have an actual agent there assisting with the transaction.  Just the claim of three locations alone makes me suspicious that there is 'monkey business' afoot.  I hate to see anyone get ripped off for so much as a penny, and hopefully Ibrahim's friend is able to help you in getting either a refund of your monies, or the shipment of the two dogs you were expecting to purchase...or your bank is able to retrieve the funds because you didn't receive what you thought you were purchasing. This happens far too often, and it really sucks.

FWIW, his facebook page is working right now, though it's not showing any posts or other activity there...I do wish you luck, and the other poster who sent him money as well, in getting the dogs you bought or your money refunded.

Hexe- Uran was in the states here, and I bought him from someone who supposedly had all his paperwork, only for me to find out later she didn't. Either way, I did get his papers, he is my main stud here, pictured on the left in my avatar, is AKC/SV/INTNL/UKC registered, an INTNL/UKC champion with his CGC/RN titles and is the best dog I've ever owned.  You can see him, and my other dogs I've imported WITH NO PROBLEMS, at www.starviewkennel.com  so I've had quite a bit of experience importing dogs, this guy was legit at some point because I've talked to other people who bought dogs/pups from him in the past, but for some reason, like I said before, in the end just got greedy.  People who've been ripped off like myself DO NOT need your kind of "help" at this time we've realized we've been ripped off, only help or support from those who can ACTUALLY provide help/advise, not crap from the likes of you with nothing helpful or beneficial to say. So please butt out then.

I talked to this guy about the dogs he had for sale and something felt odd so I did a search on his email addy.  His ad here on PDB said he was in Germany, while the email pointed to Egypt.  I asked him about it and he said he had moved to Russia.  The dog was suppose to be in Russia with him.  I had an odd feeling about the entire thing and backed out.  So glad I did. There are allot of scammers around and its very hard to know for sure.  For future reference, a search on the name and email address will usually show up something if they are a bit shady.  So sorry this has happened and I hope you get your dogs.  Ive been in a bind like this before and know how stressful it can be.  Keep your chin up.  Jan ;-)

I was in Egypt earlier this year and visit with the president of the GSD Club there.  He has also competed at the WUSV before,  email him and explain you situation (If you haven't already?) give him the facts (Only) below is his name and email address.  If you don't already know your efforts may end up fruitless because if the person that dealt with you don't want to be found he will not be found in Egypt and does not care about this data base.   But if anyone can find him my friend can, tell him you got his contact information from me.

His name is: Hashem El Dandarawy
email: hashem@k-9sense.com

I wish you luck,
Wallace Payne
