I would look at hip production in the the first couple of generations and wouldn't focus too much on Klara.

It honestly seems to be quite good in the first few generations. 3 gen pedigree... all a1 except for one a2.

Hey, Wolf, I wouldn't put too much stock into the Klara thing. I have twelve progeny that go back to Klara three to four times, different mothers, and ALL have good hips, two more that prelim'ed fair. One female I bought eight years ago four times on Klara in six gen and OFA good at four years of age, after I trained and sch titled her. Her offspring are then five times on
Klara and prelim'ed good. No elbow issues.

Thank you so much for your input, joanro! I was worried because Klara supposedly has mild dysplasia... then dogs behind her didn't look too hot either. Proof is in the pudding, though, right? Great to see that you are finding good health in her progeny!

Another plus is Puci is the mother of two of my females and a male. So, I have all the way to four gen down from Puci and everything healthy.
