A LETTER FROM TIMOTHY J. HELSER 5/25/2012
To all whom it may concern,
I have not posted on this web site for a few years now, and by not doing so I have taken the high road. I know that it may seem that I have been hiding all of these years, but I have nothing to hide. I have tried to keep out of the gossip circle and not post on here. However, I now feel that it is time I speak out about all the gossip on this site! All of these posts on here are lies from people who I refused to work with.
I am not a scam artist or a fraud. I have titled and trained dogs in numerous sports over the years, at numerous clubs across the country and in Europe. I have helped, trained, sold to and worked with many people over the years from the average pet owner, newbie, club member, regional and national level competitors, police k-9 departments, military, SAR, and celebrities in California, New York and around the country.
I have never stolen a dog from anyone! I have never committed fraud. I have never had an unsportsmanlike conduct or was dismissed from any trial. I have never had a Board of Inquiry through USCA or any other dog organization. I have never sold an unhealthy dog or puppy. I have never had a complaint from a buyer.
I have never been convicted of dog or animal abuse, having dangerous dogs or any other charges other than a few minor dog tag violations. There have never been sick, abused, neglected or dead dogs found on my premises and under my care. I have also never been convicted of impersonating a police officer. Being charged with a crime does not make you guilty. All of those charges were dismissed by the court, and I have written proof that they all were DISMISSED. I am not trying to imply that I am perfect by any means. We all have made decisions in our past that have affected our lives, whether they were good or bad. But I refuse to let those decisions define who I am today, because they have only made me a better person!
If anyone out there feels that I have done them wrong, I deeply and sincerely apologize. I would like to extend the offer to contact me so that I have a chance to make amends for any wrong doing that I may have caused.
My home, dogs and club are always open and available to anyone in the world who may be concerned for the health and wellbeing of my dogs including any members of any dog organization.
My dogs have always been in top healthy condition. They have always been under regular veterinarian care and are feed premium dog food. Their home environment has and is in great condition. I maintain a loving, caring, working relationship with each and every dog.
Over the years I have taken in many rescues and have provided them with training, veterinarian care, and have placed them in appropriate homes for their temperament, and the needs and wants of the new owner at my own expense. Some of these rescue dogs were found in the pound, on craigslist.com, petfinder.com, or from people who personally know me. Some of these dogs have been from top working breeders who compete at a world level. These breeders have placed their dogs in the wrong hands of people who did not understand genetics of a working dog. I care about all working breeds, the German Shepherd especially, and it sickens me to see so-called top breeders and trainers treating them as a disposable income. These people are nationally and world known. I have also worked with many people over the years who have gone to those top breeders and trainers for training. Those same breeders and trainers refused to work with them. Not because the owner was a bad person but because the dog wasn’t “good enough” for the trainer’s limited training knowledge. Those same owners and their dogs are currently in my club, and are obtaining titles as we speak under my training direction.
There have been numerous death threats over the years made towards me from a select few individuals. My children have been criticized. Everyone in this world is a human being and should be treated with dignity and respect. My children have nothing to do with my business practices.
I have always been involved with dogs my entire life, including pet dogs and working lines. My family has a long history that dates back to 1921 that involves working lines and Schutzhund. No one can discredit my training, my dogs, or any accomplishments that I have ever had. I have seen many people come and go over the years, but one thing remains…ME & MY DOGS! I have always owned working dogs and will always continue to own working dogs. All of your gossip and nonsense over the years has not detoured me, restricted me or inhibited me in any way from training, breeding, rescuing, importing, selling, donating, competing, titling, doing search & rescue and running my own club. Nor will it ever due so. I will continue to support all dogs, from pets to the working lines regardless of venue. I will continue to compete with my dogs. I will continue to go to all of the club & national events I can make it to. I will continue to support those people and their dogs with my money, time, training and friendship.

So...are you claiming someone else has been impersonating you over the past few years?
[Edited to add: I ask this because the spelling, grammar, word usage, and writing style of this post are so diametrically opposed to that seen in past posts attributed to you as to cause the reader to wonder what change had been wrought to produce such eloquence...]

Funny people keep getting burned so those words mean something to newbies and inexperienced folks so I will stick to my above comment. We should all care, about what he says because it translates into more victims.
