the Ol'Line Rebel

by the Ol'Line Rebel on 31 March 2012 - 18:03

Hi, haven't posted much.  But someone on another forum is in DESPERATE need of a person or organization to take her GS.  Her family suddenly has to move to Germany (I think from Las Vegas, NV area, or she has to drive to Los Angeles, CA) for her husband's work (I'm assuming this is classified, so please no comments as on the other forum about how she can't tell us).  Now we're talking maybe 3 days she is leaving for good.

She says her dog is a 4yo male who is very nice and well-behaved in the home, but he does have fear/aggression issues, so is not real good on walks, e.g.

I see today they're still struggling, so I'm posting here in hope we can get a loving home together for him quickly.

She's having trouble with "rescue" orgs - not surprised, since they're all overbooked.

Sounds like this dog needs someone most who has experience with many GS and all the issues that can come up.  Many of you breeders and trainers are best with this type of thing.  But obviously, she'll take anyone who can give him love or at least channel him to a rescue org.

Does she know that it's not difficult to export a dog?

As I said, I'm assuming this is classified as she cannot tell us details about the job or residency change.  Thus, who knows, there may be no way they can have a dog.  Having been classified-cleared for years, I know not to ask.
