As Chip and many others call you, Psycho Debbie...you know nothing of which you speak.  You haven't seen me in over 10 years.  It would be in your best interest to focus on yourself and your shortcomings...no need to concern yourself with what others are doing.

Rather unbecoming, imho, to sling personal insults (rather childish ones, at that) toward someone who only commented on DOGS that they have seen (or at least claimed to have seen firsthand). It certainly does tend to sway the reader...

Jen..your point is well taken,  I responded in a weak moment.  I tried to edit it and it is too old

Connie...which of those everybodies ever titled a dog.

Do you not remember your imported SchH3 dog being euthanized in my arms, not yours.  You could only think of the money. That dog had been a great dog, loved by someone at a younger time in his life.  Who was it you bought that dog through?

I still make it about the dogs!

Loss is never easy, but seriously...it was 12 years ago, he was in your care at your facility prior to his passing....I have not seen you in just as long.   Please, let the dog rest.

Best of luck to you in the future Connie, I've always enjoyed our conversations.

If you haven't seen Debbie then you weren't at the worlds when it was here a few years back. Nor could you have been at the last couple of regionals. Or 3 or 4 club trials I can think of off hand.  You have to leave your yard to be seen by others.

I didn't know I need to see the breeder to see that a dog(s) from their program has structural faults. Learn something new every day.

I have lots of respect for Alkster and Sprengkraft, they are both very knowledgeable and have years of experience training, trialing and breeding.  But Connie is a lovely person and I, personally, have never known her to be anything but honest with me about her dogs, and what she does and does not do with them, and this counts for quite a bit.

To put this in perspective, around '91 I went to see an old German guy in the SE Michigan area who bred, trained and titled his own dogs, and who had a 6 month old male pup he was asking $2500 for (a lota $ in '91).  He knew I wanted a dog to do schutzhund and conformation with.  I started playing with the dog and realized the pup had an overbite you could put your finger in.  I said "uh ___, I could drive a truck thru this pup's overbite."  And he said, "This makes him grab the sleeve better" LOL I looked at him to see if he was going to laugh, but he kept a straight face, and then I burst out laughing. It's then that he smirked sheepishly and laughed a little.  Now, would you rather buy a dog from this old German breeder/trainer, or someone who only breeds but is honest?  The answer is not so clearcut.

Looks like Connie is back in action - I'm happy to see she wasn't going forever.
