German Import is a group founded to help those wanting a top quality West German Shepherd Conformation Line (WGSL) Import but not sure where to turn. We often get advice to; do your 'homework'. We all know research is good and we all know what homework is, but,,, when it comes to researching a German Shepherd what exactly should we research? What's the homework? What do we look for? What makes a German Shepherd a good German Shepherd? What is a fair price to pay? This is where we come in. We have been involved with the West German dogs for well over two decades. Our involvement over the years has been showing, raising, training, breeding, and importing, all at the local, regional, and world level. We have produced multiple National Champions and a long list of wonderful loving pets. We now take our experience and team up with some of Germany's best talent. We use a scout system where our best connections developed over the years find the best examples. We have a long history of importing some of Germany's best. To date we have imported 3 German VA dogs, multiple dogs that were highly placed and were VA in the US, multiple National Champions. Many people have said; "you can't get the best from Germany." Those people are right. They can't. They don't know how to. We can and we have the results to prove it. Some of the things you should know. We do not disclose all of the information in our listings. The reason is; with two pieces of information most any dog can be identified. Once a dog is identified our sources are compromised. All of the health information and description as well as pictures are accurate. Prices are often not posted as pricing for many people is personal information. What you paid for an item should not necessarily be public information. What we consider when sourcing a dog. Dogs sourced have passed our review. We look at many components a dog before we recommend it for your consideration. We look at the kennel, the breeder, the dog in their breeding program, is one of their better examples? Each breeder has a special talent and a vision for the breed. Some consistently produce better quality than others. What we offer in the transaction. This is a process. The dog that's right for you may not be readily available. It takes some patience to find the right fit. We are full service. We assist with the selection, the shipping, the money transfer, the paperwork and registration. We handle the money and when your dog arrives as agreed, the money is released.
