hey how would you start a young dog or pup off to be a civil bitter thanks for your help

Prey drive is normal for a pup right? especially when they're hungry...How dow you start with CIVIL for bitting... Needs expert advice here also.

if you define civil meaning to to be protective and defending -- then you shopuld never never start with a pup -- more so .. i will say that there is no specific age -- ther must be first of all the genetic make-up in the dog .. you cannot make a dog what is it is not .. having the make-up then one should wait until the dog is physically , mentally , emotionally and spriritually amuted to put that responsibility onto it .some shephers -- i had one that was ready at 11 months .. others and most GSDs mature over 18 months -- i had one that i had to wait over two years for him to blossom -- now , please forgive the frankness -- if you must ask tjhis .. you do not have the ability for this -- words fall short of seeing you and the dog, which .. that is what must be adressed .. seeing an dubderstand that individual dog and you handling capabilities --SO please find someone who is well versed and experienced to work with you both before you even pick up the leash for civil work
