Changes in Pet Policy affect flights on Boeing 767 aircraft.

Advisory: Changes in policy

To ensure the best possible experience for customers traveling with pets, Delta will no longer accept pets as cargo or checked baggage on all flights operated by Boeing 767 aircraft system-wide. This change is effective June 9, 2012.

Delta is proactively contacting customers to offer alternate travel arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

Delta will continue to accept certain pets in the cabin on flights worldwide as permitted by country-specific Customs requirements.
