IS THE DAM A SABLE OR BLACK AND TAN, IT'S SOMETIMES HARD TO TELL IN A PICTURE. SABLES GET DARKER ! MY MALE AT 12 WEEKS OLD WAS THAT LIGHT TAN COLOR AND HE IS VERY DARK NOW. THEY CHANGE ALOT  |

Looks to me like the mother is a black/red with a fading saddle and bitch stripe, not sable. I believe the pup's sable hue will be the same as his sire's. But, he will be a pattern sable, meaning that he will have a defined saddle too. |

| I think the puppy will be lighter colored than the sire. Definitely a patterned sable. |
