Im just gonna put it out there...Weather or not these LEO get proper training or not..They should not be allowed to use deadly force!!!..A dart in the side MAYBE? I have witnessed ..LEO and Animal control officer in my town Dart a large dog and then return him to the owner..That was the right thing to do..Yes he got out of his pen and could have been a threat to someone..But instead of just KILLING the dog they handled it in a very professional manner.Kinda of like useing the stun gun on a human first...You cant just go around shooting dogs...The home people are talking about here that had the aussie dog was just tragic! They not only raided the wrong property they shot an innocent familys best buddy...Could have been handled totally different..Dart the dog!!!!Its not like the dog attacked someone and had to be shot on the spot..He was just doing his job..As we humans would do....Sad cituation..But CUDOS to DuQuoin LEO and Animal LEO..They knew how to handel the dog at large in a humane way....

And how do you protect your dog from this Piece of shit. Really?

Victim’s Story: My 18-month-old Rottweiler (BOS) got out of his kennel Sat Sept 22nd, while my wife, kids and I went into town. I get a phone call, and it’s my brother-in-law. He states that he went to my house after hearing several gunshots. He tells me my dog is dead. I rushed home and Bos was lying in the grass next to his kennel dead. I went to review my cameras as they recorded everything. My dog got out and was seen wandering around my yard. He didn’t attempt to bite anyone. About 1:52pm, the cop was in my driveway. Bos sits in a shady area on my property and in the background; I see the cop car-hauling ass. It parks in my driveway gets out and you can tell officer Huffman is pissed. It looks like he is cursing then starts walking towards the kennel. Bos gets up and attempts to move away then is shot from behind in his rear. He then begins to spin in circles while receiving 4 more shots at point blank range. You then see officer Huffman clean up the crime scene. Officer Huffman has also been through trials on a wrongful death lawsuit for shooting an unarmed man who attempted to flee him. He claimed that man Wes Dunn was a threat as well. He was placed behind a desk afterward; Until now…. This officer has a pattern of creating death in his wake!

What would you do, Gigante? I can only imagine!  I would think about cleaning up the blood.

One thing that can well be imagined from our chit chats bee is I don't think theres a need to shoot dogs that are backing up. Or continue to shoot them after they are backing up from being shot. All the mannerism of this officer portray an emergency need to immediately end a life. The video showns a clear and different story to me.   I would want to clean up if thats your inference so this family does not see their dog's blood and pieces all over the porch.

But why would you drag the dog that you just shot (while its backing up) and then within seconds your changing the scene. Are officers allowed to disturb the scene and change it once they have discharged their weapon and there is no further threat? Do we want things rearranged and tidy up after someone uses deadly force, I kinda vote... well... NO.

Maybe he was just being neighborly, and im seeing this wrong. <<< sarcasm, The story does have a slant but the video seems clear.
