We are trying to form a club in the SA area and are working on the name.  Does anyone know what position the USCA is taking on have the word Schutzhund in the/ir name?

Kind Regards,
W

I don't think it matters to UScA, but I do remember having the discussion when we were working on our club name,  A lot of our members trained in other sports at the time and we also had several police dogs who trained with us so we went with "DFW Working Dogs".  I think it probably makes sense not to use "Schutzhund" any more.

Thanks so much, Louise!  I put in the request to vote on these:

San Antonio Schutzhund Club
Alamo Schutzhund Club
San Antonio Working Dog Club
Alamo Working Dog Club
Heart of Texas Working Dog Club

My vote is SAWDC.  I hope we can get it worked out soon so we can get all of the paperwork submitted soon :-)

W
