| I was thinking about ways to improve dogs in schutzhund when I go train including my dogs too. For example a very good strong bit the courage test the escape bite, better strikes etc. So I came to ya and ask what ya think about training the sch dog with mondio exercises too? Yes/no why or why not Give examples and if your club do this please tell how they do it |

| I don't do mondio but my SchH dogs do not just practice SchH routines. For me a foundation is really important, as well as proofing all sorts of training. In fact *most* of the training we do especially in protection is not just doing H&B, escape, transport, long bite but all sorts of different scenarios, suits or sleeves doesn't matter to me or my dogs. No reason why a good dog can't handle good training whether that's SchH routine or not. |
