Since we now have this new section.... Lets see some great pictures of our working line dogs.  Let us know whether they are Czech, German, Belgian etc... Feel free to post titles and pedigrees to, if you want.

I will go first,. This is Xena. She is my Czech/WGR female.

In the message part (where you would type)  look at the top of this box and to the left of the red circle there is a square box (it looks like a picture of a mountain). Click on that.
Then when the prompt opens click on "upload"
Then click on "Browse". When you do this it will open to your picture section on your computer.
Click on the picture you want to upload.
Then click on "send it to server"
In the WIDTH part type in 500 and click "OK"
It will then upload the picture to the message part.
Then click " submit comment".

Hope this helps. If you cant get it to work you can email me the picture and I will upload them for you..

welcome to the forum Voraus, I thought that bit of dog in the confomation section looked familiar.

This is going to be awesome section as I have always been confused between how you can tell what dogs are DDR or other types. Could those of you posting tell  me if there are characteristics that stand out to tell or is it line tracing that determines it?

Thank you GSDNewbie - I am not going to lie, I have always been a fan of your Ronaldo/Quinto and missed your pictures. Am certainly impressed that you would find a part of my dog's shoulder familiar, but that probably comes with the expert eye! I wouldn't even be able to recognize it LOL

Excited to have the separate forums on the board now (am a long time member of pedigreedatabase, but forget my passwords much too often), hope to be sticking around. I personally use some very broad generalizations to distinguish between the DDR, WGR, and Czech types. Admittedly, I still find it very difficult to distinguish between them (especially DDR/Czech) since there is no real rule. I've seen some black sable dogs with blocky heads and massive bones that I would have sworn up and down were DDR or Czech... surprise! WGR.

Hi Everyone,

I have posted pictures of Cisco before but figured since we now have an "official" working dog forum I would post him here as well .

Cisco de la Casa NorrisNK9 (7 months old and 66lbs) :

Cisco is a VERY handsome boy!!! After looking at everyones pics I'm not sure I want to display my picture taking abilities .  My guys don't hold still for long and I'm pretty sure when the camera comes out if they had fingers they would be giving me the bird.  It's almost like they go hey she has the camera she can't actually make me do anything and snap the pic at the same time. LOL Not to mention that there a few of mine that I don't care if I put them in a completely sterile room they would somehow manage to find dirt and get in it.  I need to get good pics of mine so I can get a web page up and running I just haven't decided where I want to take the pics, I'm thinking I may have to hire somebody to take the pics the only one I know that is worse with a camera than me is my husband! Thanks for all the offers to help me get pics uploaded I will get some shortly.  All of yours are very nice. :)

My 3 1/2 yr old female is part WL and part SL.  She is the most intelligent and has the strongest herding instincts of all of my gsds.  She is the alpha of our pack and our male is in love with her (she is spayed-- has HD).   People often ask me if she is part coyote (her sire was a white gsd).  My neighbors call her "the mean one" because she is very protective.  She is my soul dog.
