I have found the pickin's to be slim in the F's.  Has to be short and easy to say quickly before a command or longer but with the ability to shorten it up, ie Chevell = Chevy

So far I have...

Falla

Falk

Faust

Frei

Falcon

Fallon

Faron

Why do you have to call the dog the registered name at all xD  That's the one thing I've always hated about the german naming system....terribly boring.

I'm being biased here, but how about Fiona or Fee for short. It's served me well all these years lol

I really like Flea (after the musician,  not the parasite or spelled Flee as in run).  I think Frank is a good strong name for a GSD, but of course I also like Freak, although 2 syllable names can be  better for recalls, etc..  Here is a site with a ton of "F" names:  http://www.seefido.com/html/dog_names_starting_with_f.htm

I have Fireblade and also had Ferarri, Felon, Fagin and Fennel.  K9Ulf has Floh (means Flea).

I really like the name "Freya" for a girl, should I ever acquire another pup this name will be one of the contenders!

For a boy I am somewhat at a loss, I do like the name "Frankie". It's a common name, yet not many dogs have it.
I dont know if any of you watch Futurama or not but I really am diggin' the name "Farnsworth" as well.  "Finnigan" is a nice name too.

Molly was from an F litter and was named Felice.  I wanted to call her Flash.  Some of her siblings, Figo, Ferdi and Filo

Good luck with picking names,

C
